About her
I’m a positive person and I like intelligent conversations but I do have a sense of humour and laugh a lot. I am reasonably fit - walking every day with my dog. (I have people who help me with the dog so I am always free to get away.) I enjoy gentle cycling and swimming in the summer.
I am looking for someone who loves music and who is easy company to go out with on a regular basis. Not necessarily to spend all our time with each other or move in together but you never know .... I have a busy, interesting life and I imagine you do too.
I still work a bit because I enjoy it and, as well, I volunteer at a wonderful homeless charity.
I absolutely love music but I can’t play an instrument or sing very well, so I go to a lot of gigs to immerse myself in the pleasure of other people’s talent - anything from classical to folk-rock from the seventies. If I was in America I’d head out to see Diana Krall, and Melody Gardot. Each year I go to the Costa Festival in Ibiza which is superb
I read a lot (literary fiction, non-fiction), and do a bit of writing (non-fiction).
I enjoy eating out and going to the theatre and cinema as well as the music gigs.
I’m also happy to stay at home, listen to music, watch a good film on television, potter in the garden, or read.
I like coastal UK and Europe in particular for holidays and if there is music or local food involved, all the better.
People tell me I make a positive difference to others, that I am a good listener, considerate, kind, a bit of an academic and somewhat romantic with love to give.

About her ideal match
I would be attracted to an honest, sincere and caring man who has lots of love to give. He would be intelligent and creative, about the same age as me. He would like dogs, music, and eating out. I'm equally happy to get to know someone with different interests who would introduce me to his hobbies or sports. Whatever you like or enjoy doing, you'd have to be someone who doesn’t take himself too seriously, and who is light-hearted as well as not minding serious conversation.
On a practical note, it would make sense for me if you lived in Surrey or Sussex.
