About him
Young at heart, I am fit, active. My favourite pastime is walking, both locally and abroad. In May, I completed the 175-mile Camino Portugues from Porto to Santiago de Compostela.
I love a walk in the English countryside especially when there is a pub lunch at the end. Not surprisingly, I run a walking group that does just that. I also enjoy gardening, DIY projects, theatre and music ranging from classical to rock. When I’m not walking, weeding or fixing things, I like cooking for friends.
I see life as a series of adventures, both big and small. I am up for new experiences. I have been coasteering and tombstoning with my grandchildren and taken up paddle boarding. For holidays, I love to travel, revisiting old haunts and discovering new places. I am a sun lover and enjoy escaping from the English winter by going somewhere warm and just relaxing on a beach.
Friends say I’m caring, loyal, kind and gentle, have a good sense of humour and don’t take myself too seriously.

I am looking for a relationship with a lady with whom I can share experiences whether they are holidays abroad or just trying a new restaurant. Someone who I can laugh with, have fun with, curl up on the sofa, cuddle and watch a movie with. A lady who is fit and active, tactile even passionate and has a sense of adventure.
Hopefully she would be interested in the things I get up to but also introduce me to her pursuits.
