About him
Along, I am sure, with most men on this site I am finding this profile writing particularly scary. I seem to be getting flashbacks to O Level English exams! So, take it as read that I like country walks, pub lunches and cosy evenings in front of a log fire with a bottle of wine! But, what to say to catch people's attention, without being forward, overly self-confident or simply telling fibs!!
A snapshot about me - I consider myself to have a quick, and sometime silly, sense of humour, extremely loyal and affectionate, a very good listener (although I will contribute my point of view). I am passionate about my family and friends, especially now enjoying Granddad time (although not for too long at a time). I have a thoughtful and intellectually curious nature and am trying, slowly, to revisit my scant knowledge of schoolboy French and taking an Open University degree (not in French I must stress).
I enjoy the outdoors – sailing, boating and water sports, in the winter snow skiing and I recently thought I really must try and put on some running shoes. I’ve never tried camping, singing, wing-walking or polo but am willing if the opportunity arose to give anything a try. I love to travel and particularly love the South of France
