I'm a relatively simple and straightforward person. I don't like drama and do like a simple life, free of too many unnecessary complications. I am relatively happy in my own company but after many years of being single by choice realise there's something important missing. Love.

I love most people, children (have none of my own), animals, nature and beautiful places. I feel most content by the sea and in sunshine. I've worked with people, serving the public and managing teams for most of my working life and am told I'm easy to get on with. A good listener and attentive to other's and would like the same. There's too many self absorbed people around these days, who have one way conversations, I'll be frank and honest here, i find that draining to be around for long. In mid-life now (yikes, how did that happen!) I'm in the process of rediscovering who I am so find it hard to write any more about my interests here. As we all are, I'm a work in progress and want to progress with a good man by my side and I with him. The character of that person is more important by far than what you own or what you drive.

I don't drink, a health choice, so would like someone where drink isn't an important part of your life. Open to the odd glass for celebrations or watching the sunset somewhere beautiful (see, romance isn't dead :) If you love animals and nature that's a bonus. If you love to travel, holidays or dream of living abroad like me that's a double bonus but not a deal breaker. As for looks, attractive to me is of some importance. But if the rest isn't there looks mean nothing, so you first and who you are, not what you are. A good man. I'll look after you if you can do the same. So let's love, laugh and have some fun times.
