I’ve created a stable, beautiful home in the Cornish countryside, where I’m a steady presence for my two teenagers. Widowed for some time, I’m balancing work (for a few more years) with the things I love—friends, sea swims, horse riding, making farmhouse preserves, hiking, and diving into history books or podcasts like *The Rest is History* or *Poetry Unbound*.
