A little about me….. I am a genuine, natural and honest lady, easy to talk to, and with a positive outlook on life. I’m told that I’m a warm, friendly and engaging person with a huge heart and a nice smile! I consider myself to be affectionate and tactile, and being kind and caring is important to me, as is loyalty, and being someone people can depend on.
I’m passionate about many things, including music, sport and languages. I'm trustworthy with a generous nature, and I have a mischievous sense of humour and zest for life! With a love for people and socialising with family and friends, I also value and enjoy quieter times too, either out in nature to walk my cockapoo come rain or shine, or cooking, swimming, or watching a film in front of a fire. I am equally at home in wellies, enjoying nature, but I also enjoy the opportunity to wear a beautiful dress and nice heels!
I still work full time in a career that I love, but I have lots of free time to enjoy travel and exploration – city breaks / the scenery and serenity of lakes and mountains or beautiful beaches; making new memories and enjoying new experiences are really important to me, but I would like to do this with a partner alongside me. I grab any opportunity to see my three grown-up and independent children too!
I am lucky to be in good health and have lots of time and energy to enjoy life to the full, embracing new and positive adventures. I want to learn new things too about your interests and passions, and I’m looking forward to enjoying that spark and chemistry that makes two people smile every day.
I am attracted to confidence (but not arrogance) and enjoy a healthy lifestyle (not obsessively so though!) and am looking to meet someone who doesn’t live a million miles away, for walking, talking, cooking, laughing, learning new things, travelling, visiting theatres / cinemas / galleries / cuddling on the sofa, and hopefully gorgeous hand-holding and kissing.

Who am I looking for? Well I suppose to begin with, it’s someone who connects with some of my thoughts above…
….. maybe someone a little less ordinary, intelligent, funny, honest and reliable; someone who is kind-hearted and thoughtful, with a passion for living, combined with the fundamentals of being a decent man; kind, empathetic, caring, affectionate and emotionally intelligent too.
Physical attraction is an important complement to romance, together with a determination to look forwards in life and wanting to find love and excitement again; someone who wants to share in life’s little moments and big adventures and try new things along the way as well as enjoying the simple things just as much.
I suppose I should add that I would like to meet someone who is comfortable in their own skin. As well as being down to earth and looking for a meaningful connection, being a father too would be nice I think as I think it can add a special dimension.
A man that looks after himself is pretty important to me too, but age - not so.
But if we could share a love of nice food, delicious wine, enjoy city breaks, days out, sporting events, live music and explore the café culture in cities and definitely consider travelling further afield, …….well that would be amazing. We would be talking and laughing regardless of where we were though and what we were doing.
Above all, being kind, honest and easy going, and ready to share some lovely experiences together will be the best start. Oh, and a gorgeous smile will always win me over!
Perhaps I am looking for a needle in a haystack, but my optimism lets me believe there is someone out there whose life I could enrich a little too….
