I seem to have found myself living in an area where it is difficult to encounter and get to know people.
I'm not exactly what you'd call gregarious, but I believe I'm a reasonably good communicator and conversationalist.
Spend a fair bit of time working from home and I go out for a walk nearly every day, in an effort to stay active and reasonably trim.
Not really one to sit in a pub frequently but I do like coffee shops!
Had a somewhat overdue haircut yesterday (27/09) so decided to post a picture taken today. I like to try and make sure there are genuine images there for browsers. The main image by the way is only a couple of years old, but it was taken for work by a professional, so I'm making the most of it!

I have never had a particular 'type' that I lean towards as I think that would be a bit limiting. I have generally found I get on well with people who are articulate, thought provoking and intelligent. Education is definitely not a pre-requisite.
I travelled a bit when younger but very little subsequently and have a great interest in other cultures and the travel experiences of other, so naturally well travelled persons would pique my interest, as would those with a global interest.
I am an animal lover, so someone who enjoys companionship on dog walks would definitely be a plus point.
