About him
Not sure why anyone would want to know me, but those who do don't seem to have many complaints. I'm normal but not ordinary; adventurous but not reckless; considerate but not a push-over. I'm intelligent but not pretentious (and am happy to be educated in things I don't know and also in things I think I know but discover I really don't). I think kindness is under-rated, and ostentatious success is over-rated. Perhaps that makes me a bit eccentric (in my thoughts, not my behaviour) in an archetypical English way. I believe in live and let live, and that everyone has to find their own way, so I'm very tolerant of others and non-judgemental. Considerate and relaxed; think men and women are definitely different but have as much right to what they want or need as each other. I'm socially aware, but not bound to follow fashion. I am very youthful and physically fit, but not fitness obsessed (I just inherited good genes - no merit in that). I prefer to participate in activities than watch them from a sofa; while I'm naturally sporty I don't do much (except to keep trim, like running, Pilates and exercising), but will try anything if my partner wants to. Very presentable when necessary and also very relaxed in all situations (and relaxing for others). Easy to handle, but also complicated under the bonnet. You know the sort: human.

I'll come back to this one, as it needs some thought and careful expression, but basically as a temporary stand-in: if you are natural, unpretentious, not in need of proving yourself, have a sense of humour, are bright and not too uptight (most of the time) and can be as tolerant as necessary to rub along happily, we will get on well.
